The American Academy of Religion (AAR) and Middle East Studies Association (MESA) are both holding their annual conferences on November 21-24, AAR in Atlanta and MESA in Denver.

If you’ll be attending either conference this weekend, please come by the LAL booth in the book exhibit areas and say hello. We’ll be displaying all of our books—including our new paperbacks—and selling them at discounts throughout the conferences.

Additionally, at our AAR booth (#1007) on Saturday, November 21, from 11AM to noon, we’ll be holding a light reception hosted by LAL editors Sean Anthony, Joseph Lowry, Devin Stewart and Shawkat Toorawa. It’s a great opportunity to chat with our editors and learn more about the series in an informal setting over coffee and snacks.

And, if you’re coming to MESA, we’ll be at booth #65 there all weekend!
